What is First Meta Exchange / FMX?

The First Meta Exchange or FMX is a currency exchange for virtual / online game currencies. Here, you can...

  • buy virtual game currencies
  • sell them for real money, or
  • trade them for other virtual currencies supported on the exchange.

On the FMX, YOU determine the price.

Why should I use it?

Sounds great! So how does the exchange work? How do I use it?

You can trade on the exchange by just following these 4 easy steps:


  • Step 1    Link your avatar    Use your existing game avatars to sign in. No need to register with us! :)
  • Step 2    Deposit    Deposit the funds that you wish to sell.
  • Step 3    Place an order    Tell us how much you want to trade and at what price. Again, YOU decide the price.
  • Step 4    Withdraw    the funds to buy yourself something nice, or leave them in your account for future trades.

Example: Selling IMVU credits for Euros

  • Step 1    Link your IMVU avatar
  • Step 2    Deposit IMVU credits
  • Step 3    Select the EUR-IC currency pair and submit an order to sell IC (or buy EUR)
  • Step 4    Withdraw EUR into your PayPal or bank account

Example: Buying Toricredits with US dollars

  • Step 1    Link your Toribash avatar
  • Step 2    Deposit USD (you can pay in your native currency if its supported by the payment methods available)
  • Step 3    Select the USD-TC currency pair and submit an order to buy TC (or sell USD)
  • Step 4    Withdraw TC into your Toribash avatar

Link your avatar

If you see your avatar name on the menu on the left, your avatar is already linked. Otherwise, go to Account -> Avatars and click on the game logos for instructions on how to link your avatar.

Depositing funds

Deposit real-currency:

  • Go to My Funds -> Real currency deposit
  • Select the amount and currency you’d like to deposit
  • Select your preferred payment method. We are continually adding more payment methods.

Deposit virtual currency:

Placing an order

Click on the Exchange tab, select the currency pair you wish to trade (or simply select the currency pair from the left menu) and then submit an order form.

Submitting an order form:

  • Select buy or sell, enter the amount and select the currency (e.g. sell 10000 LD)
  • Select a market or limit order
    • Market order is executed (usually immediately) at the best currently available price
    • Limit order lets you specify the rate you wish to trade at. The exchange will execute the trade only when the market price meets your rate or better

Withdrawing funds

Withdraw real-currency:

  • Go to My Funds -> Real currency withdrawal
  • Select the amount and currency you’d like to withdraw
  • Select how you’d like to receive your funds. We are continually adding more methods for you to receive funds.

Withdraw virtual currency:
